Poketo Color Story + Fall Look Book

Whoa! It's been so long since I've posted. It's been so busy, and I've not been able to keep up.

In 2017 I'm going to be even more motivated to share and create, and what a better way to get started up again than with a color-filled LookBook launch? Poketo, the brand of color, organization, quirk and function, launched their first LookBook in the Fall, and with the help of a killer team, I had to the pleasure of shooting it.

I've been busy,  and here's a bit of what I've been up to:

Clean, minimal design doesn’t always have to be
black and white. The perfectly edited, neutral palette that’s
taken over social media leaves us craving color. This fall, we’re
introducing our take on minimal style with a bold color story —
embracing vibrant reds and deep blues in our latest collection
of paper goods and accessories for school and the office.

Colorful home + Pops of PINK

I have never met someone so refreshing. Dawn Sturmon is the brightest woman in the world - sharp, hilarious, energetic, creative and fun!

She lives in St Louis with her husband and two sons. Being the only woman in the home she insisted on pink! It was a pleasure capturing the her spirit manifested in her home.

SAUCE Magazine Cover Feature + Guide to the Holidays

I'm totally into these images for Sauce Magazine's Guide to the Holidays Issue! Here's the tear sheets, some of my favorite proofs that weren't picked for the spread, and a toasty behind-the-scenes Instagram pic SauceMag posted of this shoot, always bringing along my handy-dandy ladder and pulling my hair back.

A big thank you to Emily Mitchell, designer and home-owner at The Place Home , for letting us use her beautiful home/studio and for assistance styling!

Thanks to my assistant, Madeleine Heppermann, for dressing the part, just in case she needs to step in and hold a fork, which somehow, always seems to happen. Thanks to Meera at Sauce for really going for it, styling all the dishes, and giving me a chance to style the croissant French toast casserole - crossing my fingers with every strawberry.
